Not the easiest variety to grow or the heaviest cropping. Cox gradually losing out in popularity to Gala but it is still our dominant variety at North Perrott Fruit Farm
Conference make up over 95% of our pear production.
We only grow a very few Discovery but they always look good in a photo!
An early variety, Worcester normally ripen in the first week of September but don't store long and normally have to be eaten by the end of the month.
The best known culinary apple. Bramley is a heavy cropping variety that picks in early September but can be stored all year round. It is prone to bruising and requires careful handling at harvest and grading.
